Globalization



I wanted to buy some memorabelia from my university bookstore and got a Chinese-made maple leaf pin

That's funny, lol.

But realistically, that's where everything is made. It is a Canadian product following all the Canadian measures and reglutions, the process of physical creation was done in China though. :P

True, but it's ironic that a Canadian national symbol is made outside. Sort of defeats the purpose. I've noticed though that most products in souvenier shops are made locally. This seems to be an exception
